Sunglass Man manikus' galleries and forums

Good ol' SourceForge.

They've provided space for me to host my images and a forum. The galleries are chock full of DC art and the forums are for talking about art, AD&D, whatever I want and of course, Dungeon Craft.

SourceForge seems to have some weird 'ticks'. I can post in the forum I created, but after clicking submit it forwards to a page saying that "manikus" is not a project, which is of course correct. But, it still posts...which may prove annoying enough that I will be the only one to ever post. But, at least if you want to see what I'm up to, you can find out.

Uh oh - I'm being asked for a user and password again... This time from home (so maybe it doesn't matter where I access from?)

That's weird. When I try it on my laptop, which is not logged in to SourceForge, I get there no problem. But, as I mentioned in another thread, yesterday while I was working with the gallery, I got the pop-up asking me for a username and password. I just hit cancel and the back-button (maybe I had to go back two screens) and was able to go about my business.

I saw nothing in the SourceForge FAQ about this, so I don't know what else to do. I don't feel I can really put a support ticket on, as the error is not recreatable by me, and just happened a couple of times and then seemed to resolve itself.

Well, just know, that I'm writing cool stuff over there. And I'm planning on doing some tutorials and such for the 3D programs I use.

How about the "I made my own fonts..." from a previous post.
That is something I'd like to know how to do.

Fonts are easy-breezy but very time consuming.

I haven't done it in quite a while, but I used an open source piece of software and plugged in bitmaps. That was very easy for making the FRUA font, but took a lot of time to do my handwriting font - I had to write out, scan, convert and then size before importing into program. I, of course, did all of the special characters, I think up through 125 or so.

I don't know which software I used - it was several computers ago. I'm sure if you go to SourceForge or FreshMeat and do a search you will find several programs to accomplish your goals.

As for the gallery issues, y'all are having, I still haven't found a solution...but I'll keep looking.
