Black Lotus

Other than the fact that you can find people using Black Lotus in the Copper Coronet and the dialog at the front gates (between guards and a smuggler), is there a sub-quest related to the Black Lotus? Specifically, is it possible to find the smuggling ring? (I'm sure the people who use Black Lotus are using for more than just 3 mana of any color....)

Rikard, Black Lotus seems to be BGII's version of the highly addictive narcotic chemical of your choice. Apparently, some of Athkatla's guards are involved in a smuggling ring. I was simply wondering if this is a plot line that gets developed in any way, such as a) lawful and/or good types stopping the ring or b) thieves earning their own guildhouse who then take over the smuggling operation.

I had Time Twister !!! Sold it damn it !! Black lotus is not as powerful as it can be. If you don't have it in the start hand, it is useless.

My dream decks : 20 timetwister; 20 underworld dreams and 20 black lotus ..

win at first play .. haha !!
