elminster. now raist is hardcore hardcore dont get me wrong, anyone willing to use his amgic to take on a god is pretty tough in my book, but elminster is like the avatar or lover of mistra the godess of magic. i think if it came right down to it. the god of magic would just take raists powers away, and that would be that. not much he can do without the backing of his magic. in a straigh fight without actual divine intervention ide still say elminster. he is mistras choosen and that carries alot of weight. so ill put my money on elminster in the second round with a knockout

Well, I consider Larloch very potent, who can repel any magical art known to him at the small cost of 10 year's life.

Tethtoril - who cannot even be touched: Mystra, Deneir and Oghma delivering wrath through the priest.

But for an old friend, yes......Elminster would have the coup-de-grace.

Straight fist fight? well, Elminster obviously...even though he's an old man, Raist is one sickly bastard. then again, considering their alignments, Elminster would get a punch in and Raistlin would cast his most powerful spell....chaotic evil wizards aren't exactly known for their code of honor.

I honestly can't picture Elminster scoring with Mystra. That's unless he dire charmed her....

Rastiln wins easy. He was willing to give up more for more power than Elminstar was. Elminstar just got lucky.
