Man, I haven't had my lymph nodes swell in YEARS. I have an infection in my damn EAR. And it hurts bad. I went to the Doc, and got put on Avelox--a anti-biotic to kill it, but MAN...

I have had NO energy for the last week. I am on day 5 of my meds. Is it gonna get better in another 5? I feel a bit better.. but still.. bah.

I have NO clue how I got an infection period, let alone my EAR! lol.. I am extremely clean, and use antibacterial soaps, liquids and clean my ears daily. They think a pour got clogged or something..

Anyway, I'll keep you updated. I have 5 more days of meds to take, and I am going back this morning for a checkup visit to the Doc. All should be cool soon.

Then I can finish my new levels and other neat surprises for ya!

get better first.
worry about new levels later.
I am sure there's plenty of adventure inside of the Undermountain for everyone to savour and be smothered by.

Well, I went to see the Doc, and since it's still filling with fluid (a small cyst on the tip of my ear) I have to have surgery and have the follicle that is clogged or whatever removed. (he said there would be no scaring or anything..

But SHIT... I have never had surgery. It's an outpatient thing.. 10 mins to do, and I leave 2 hrs later. But I am kinda scared. So worried. Never had anything like this happen guys.

I get it done Aug 7th around 1pm. I pray that somehow the antibiotics I have left will kill it. But chances are very small.

What I have is called a Pseudo-cyst of the auricle (ear). It's not near my ear hole--it's above it.. So no hearing issues which is good. THAT is painful. What I have is not common, but easy to correct.

I found an image of what it looks like (This isn't a pic of ME, just of what one looks like) hehe

Hurts... I'll keep you updated.

I wouldn't get too worried about the potential operation Z, you're just under a local anaethitic if you're out of hospital in a couple of hours. You're in the right place if anything goes wrong as well.

An old wives tale says that bad things come in threes. Sick Choc, sick HD, sick Z. So you're free to start skydiving if you like! (but don't, it sounds dangerous)

As roddybug says, it looks lke a local anaesthetic and a quick cut or burn. No problem. Been there and got the T-shirt.

The best thing about it is that given where the cyst is you have no chance of seeing what they are doing.

Of course, some humourist could just leave a mirror about....
