Thanks, Attalus. I'll second the motion... happy fathers day to all of you who qualify

My dad came over, so we did double-duty. Nice lunch, and dinner at the Outback Steakhouse -- best dinner salad I've ever had (again!). Set up the badminton net in the back yard, and played with all five of us. Only lost a couple of birdies in the pine trees, but I managed to retrieve them. Broke two badminton rackets -- the strings just snapped. Guess they were worth both dollars we paid...

My wife gave me something really cool. She took a bunch of old pictures, scanned them and printed them out in black and white, and then assembled them into a photo album linked with a song. Then she played the song while I opened it, and each verse led to more pictures. Brought a tear to my eye, it did...

And now, some gaming and then I'm getting to bed early. Been up way too late lately, and I'm starting to fall asleep in the middle of the day.

In fact, I forgot that part -- all the adults in my house took a nap this afternoon while the kids watched TV...
