crashing after giving Kerah the holy water

Unlike other people, my system also crashes after I GIVE (ie not use) the holy water to Kerah. But, there is hope. What I did was, yes, I gave to kerah the holy water when she is on the ground. I let her do her speech and then, she disappeared. Then, this is the most important part, I saved the game. Before this, the program crashes left and right. before, when I toughen myself before I go to fight cet, the program would crash. But, After I gave water to Kerah (ie. let Kerah say her speech and disappears) I then SAVED the game. After that I exited the game and loaded the one I saved and went ahead and fought cet. My spells were working after that. I put on Merlins Shield and I toughen my two guys who had the Mavin and the Staff. Then, went ahead and defeated evil cet. Good has triumphed once again.
