What Spells or abilities do i need to get rid of the last boss' magic
barriers and its big very big creatures it throws at me?

btw i have TOB installed if that makes any difference.

I think he mean not melissan, its irenicus , or better say the slaughter version of him...

Hmm, first Buff all your fighters, trink Potions, everything you have. Cast shields, imunity of magic, protection from evil etc, the full programm...

I cant really remember that fight, but if you kill irenicus the other creatures should dissapear...
Use timestop if you have it. try to hold the other creatures, summon lots of minons...


Sorry, if the englisch names arent correct, i only know the german ones, i just translatet it^^

yeah now i remember the name lol irenicus but when u are fighting him not in the trees but in hell with those bog guys, okay my party is basically a PC archer, imoen, jaheira, minsc, aerie and anomen. i remember whenever i fought him he had himself in a globe a clone of himself walking around and i think he was imune to magic weapons althought i cant remember as it was awhile back and have just recently re-installed the game

With Throne of Bhaal installed, you still have more game to go!

What you are participating in is the end of the 'Shadows of Amn' part of the (original) game, and the 'Throne of Bhaal' expansion has only partly kicked in (with prior access to the Watcher's Keep dungeon).

Some strategic suggestions are here on the confrontation you have after collecting and placing the Tears of Bhaal. It's far from an exhausted list of tactics however.

yep i was reffering to the final fight in shadows of amn, i just mentioned i had TOB installed incase if it made a difference, like i know in BG1 installed with tosc it raises the lvl of the final boss so i was just wondering if this was also the case

No, I don't think installing ToB raises the power of the SoA final boss.

ToB does allow characters to get higher levels and Higher Level Abilities, permit new items through Watcher's Keep, and I understand nerfs the Cloak of Mirroring (among the myriad of changes that took place). These changes can affect the dynamics of that battle, but as Lord says, I'm not aware that the creature 'Irenicus in Hell' was changed with the expansion.

ok, what you could try to neutralize irenicus magic power is to take a mageresisted character(drink potions) with the speed boots. The other Party members flee and try to take the other enemies with em.
The mageresisted fighter runs now round(arround? surround?me and my english...) Irenicus. Irenicus will cast all his spells on the character, without an effect you can imagine.
The other partymember should not have problems with the creatures they`ve pulled away.

When Irenicus is finished with his spells transform your main character into the slayer and cast speed on him. they rest should not be very difficult
