How do you protect the Archer?

How do you protect the Archer? Sure you can put tanks to soak up damage and you can shoot from behind but let`s say you are you do not have tanks or soling one.

How do you really protect him? Sure you can give him Cloak of Mirroring and Shield of Balduran,but from other kind of attacks?

Sure in ToB there is a special HLA called Hardiness <-*Higlghlit for ToB HLA spoilers* but until then?

Unfortunately, I'd have to agree... that's all I can think of too, then again I'm still refamiliarizing myself with the game... but that seems like the best option.

I wouldn't say that neccesarily, remember Illisara? With the Ascension mod added in, she really put a hurting on me for an archer, but of course I never heard of a shot that stuns and puts your character to sleep in a single shot [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Invisibility always helped me when I used Archers.

ARGH! I really hate her in the final battle in ToB with Ascension.
She is soooo powerful...i hate her,hate her....

I read in the readme that even weimer agreed with the overpoweredness

Most archers can get rid of the enemy before they get close enough to hurt them
