My computer has just had a major system faliure and it had to be replaced. Every file in my computer was erased when it suffered the system failure. That means all my bg2 files including the saved game files which contained my finished and perfected party which was ready to take on Tob was erased too,no! All that work for nothing, the character I was using came all the way from bg1 and now I have to start it all again, its just so unfair. Has this happened to anyone else?

"So why should I worship you Tiax?"
"Well Sigmar, I am Tiax the chosen one of Cyric, destined to ascend, I shall rule all!"
"Do you know you have a duck on your head?"
"Duck what duck......ahhhhhhhh!"

Happened to me in BG1, I had been playing for months and my hard drive crashed. I had to get a new one, of course I lost my entire game and had to start all over. I really feel for you.

Good luck!

No, I haven't lost any characters, but the bummer is.. I want to play so many subclasses, but want them to be from the beginning (BG1), so... By the time I'm ready to transfer them all, ToB would have been out for months, maybe a year.. Plus, I still need to get TotSC and have all them go through that... Aye..

Invest in a zip drive at least and copy your saved game files to a zip disk...and update it often. This saved me once.
