I thought it was a bit odd, that you wanted to use the Tripod logo as a sig...
I can't wait, to see the Real Thing.

BTW... the reason Willow mentioned ...Limiting the use of graphic sigs...to once per thread, is...Graphics take longer to load, then text. So...the more graphics, a thread contains...the longer it takes, for people with Dial-up connections to see the page. You can go back and remove the sigs...from your other posts (in this thread)...by clicking on the 'edit/delete' icon on each post...then --> clear the check, from the box in front of...'Show signature' and then click...'Edit Post'.

First off, welcome to the boards, Artanius. May you cross the Lost Sea an hour before the sharks know you're in the water...

Second, I tried linking to the picture as well. It didn't work for me correctly yet; just shows an "image hosted by Tripod" picture. Willow, you might clarify the code slightly... my brain's too loose to figure it out.

Third, you do have the ability to edit and even delete your own old posts. So if you're trying to get something like a picture to work, consider trying it in one post, and then keep re-editing that same post.

And there's a second sneaky trick as well -- you can put the code in your post, and hit the Preview Post button. That will show you how it will appear without going through the hassle of recreating posts, refreshing displays, and so on.

And don't worry about the welcome -- everyone's welcome here, just so long as they don't cause any grief in the Boogre Bar. And even then, they only have to answer to Bob.........

Strange, I can see the picture just fine. I´ll try and link to it here. Tell me if it shows. Did I lock that folder... Hmm better check to make sure.

Edit: I can see it; can you? [img]graemlins/blueblink.gif[/img]

Welcome Artanius!

Hope you like this foorum, we love it!

WillowIX: are you sure that picture is what you meant it to be?
Well if you click link in your 2th message for this topic, you'll see that, that picture is Tripod logo...

code is fine, picture isn't...

Now that´s the problem Olli. When I click that link I can see the image. BUT you aren´t allowed to browse my files on my tripod account! So that shouldn´t work. Here´s what the pic looks like http://willowix1.tripod.com/Ironworks/Artanius.html

But I uploaded the image to my Ranchoweb account as well. It will have to stay there I guess. The link to that is http://img.ranchoweb.com/images/willowix/artanius.jpg . Put that between your image tags Artanius. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Welcome to the forum Artanius,

I don't think anyone here would treat you as a dumb kid. I often feel like a dumb adult especially when I overlook something obvious playing W&W. [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Be sure to go to "user created polls" & vote for our forum as the "most popular forum"

I would like to see your dwarf rogue as a barbarian for a while to get big hp.

I have never heard of a secret race in W&W.
