It does of course involve risk. You are exposing part of yourself. Is she telling you her darkest secret too? ------------------ I am the walrus!.... er, no hang on.... A fair dinkum laughing Hyena! |

If you weigh up the losses risked against the possible gains, and the gains outweigh the loss, go for it. You are right that someone needs to start. Being mindful of the balance of disclosure is important though. You don't want the situation where one is repeatedly pouring their heart out and the other isn't at all. It's unbalanced. You do have to start somewhere though. Hope this is grist for the mill. The choice is yours alone. Pray about it perhaps. I would pray in this sort of situation. But then I pray in most situations..... ------------------ I am the walrus!.... er, no hang on.... A fair dinkum laughing Hyena! [This message has been edited by Yorick (edited 10-09-2001).] |

I'd say that it depends on how exciting the dark secret is!
If it has to do with another woman and your life with her, I'd say most definately leave it out! ------------------ Captain of Bouncers, Boogre Bar LH Member "I've had it up to here, listening to a small segment of people try to put down America! Given a different set of circumstances to his, your advice would indeed be vital as you provided an important window into the female mind. "She must feel special..." ------------------ I am the walrus!.... er, no hang on.... A fair dinkum laughing Hyena! |

However in saying that I know of a woman that pestered her man for every detail about every previous woman.
