Who killed this beast? I did (Hehehehe) What were your tactics? He was quite hard actually. I just fought him with maximized fireballs (60 damage when he didnt resist them) etc. Finished him off with a power word kill scroll though.. Hehehe

I cast a Harm spell.
After that you just need a lucky hit to take out whatever you casted it on [img]smile.gif[/img]

Old Snarly? Who's that? Red dragon? Just walked to him, talked and then smacked the living lights out of him. Then threw the dead-dragon-soul-ball thingie next to his corpse (who needs to use it anyway), picked up the loot and left the area [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think he also goes by the name of Klauth.................... Or maybe I'm wrong. Yes, the red dragon. What levels were you at him? I Killed him at Level 11

I can't remember what level I was. I do remember I had to reload once because I'd tricked him into consuming a wrong sphere and after that Linu wouldn't cast the harm I'd been counting on (appearantly she thought he didn't have enough HP left for the spell to be worth it. Leave the thinking to me, Linu

). On the second go he didn't get the sphere (although I might have given him a correct one if I'd had a previous save) and it worked out just fine. Conclusion: Trickses don't always work.

That trick worked for me though.. Worked well actually

Got his hp low enought to use power word kill

Power Word Kill...when they don't make saves, that's neat spell. Personally, I think a nice 1-2 punch is Power Word Stun follwed closely by Power Word Kill....
