Is it possible to use characters already part of the way through the game in single player in another game? Like in Baldur's Gate the way your characters could continue to start again to play the game through. It seems you can only import characters but i don't know how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can. But first you have to export your character. To do that you click on the button on the left side of the screen that looks like a head, and click export. After that you have to create a new game. Whe you click create character there should be a button to import it. That's about it.
