k, so here I am itching to watch some snippets of Fellowship but......it ain't working. now I just finished watching Pirates of the Carribean so my dvd player on my computer IS working, and I've watched Fellowship on my computer before so I know the disc DID work. but every time I put it in and try to start it up I get an error message saying that either the disc is corrupted (say it ain't so, god!) or it's using a program not compatible with windows. but I've watched it on here before and take good care of it!!! HELP!!!!!

Possible problems might be:
-disc needs a clean
-you might have deleted the necessary codec
-disc is corrupted (worst case scenarion)

I just listed possible sources of problems I know about, I don't know what you did between watching the dvd, and trying to watch FotR.

I'd try a cleaning as the first step. Of the drive and the DVD.

If you're connected to the web, the player should try to download the codec for you if it's needed.
