Oh yeah! I love the Zelda series from N64 onwards...haven't played any older ones. [img]tongue.gif[/img] I also loved, loved, loved BG 2. One of the games i replayed the most, with easily the best storyline, funny humour and a great graphics engine...not the best, but perfect for the game. The Max Payne Dualogy is pretty damn good, as well SpellForce and KotOR rocks too. Dammit, so many...

So you're saying that a respected gaming sites' score and opinion are meaningless? Don't you think that gaming journalism is an important part of the gaming industry and without it, lots of people would go out and buy crap games? I share IGN's opinion of the game and know that if they give a game a 100% it must be pretty good. If I then went to 5 other gaming sites and saw that they all had given the game perfect scores I might *just* think to myself, "wow maybe this game is good."

Say for example, every gaming site and magazine gave (let's say) Baldur's Gate III perfect 100% scores. So would you then say to yourself, "Wow, all these perfect scores - wait, they're other people's opinions, I can't trust these, even though every site, magazine and online review has given this game excellent reviews." "I like the BG series, I enjoyed both games and this latest installment seems to be better than its predecessors but, I don't know, I don't trust IGN's score."

I don't even like IGN that much. The ads, the way you have to subscribe to get certain info - but I do know that the people who review the games aren't stupid.

I think he means that the opinion of IGN alone is meaningless as a whole. Every gaming magazine has its bias.
