Is it possible to turn off the option to make polls in a certain forum but leave it on in others? Because I mean like with GD its all well and fine to say stop making polls in this forum, but a week or so later either people have forgotten and will post a poll or new people wont know they are not supposed to because they still have the option to. Well I guess the other option is to do a locked sticky at the top but seems much easier the other way.

Yes it is. ATM, it is turned on in GD and the Polls forum, and off in all the rest. But turning it off doesnt prevent people from posting open ended polls
