Not read any of them Timber. Though you know I am a huge fan of classic american litrature. I will try a few of them ASAP.
But if we are talking world best and not just USA then Angela's Ashes should be there. (actually Frank Mccourt is American I think)

This was posted in the poll forum before wasn't it? I wonder what happened to all the posts in the poll forum...
Being almost stricly only a fantasy and science fiction reader I really doubt those books would interest me, but what I'd really like to see is people's opinion of the 25 best novel worldwide. Edit: Ah, actually, there is a copy of every posts from the poll forum in the General Discussion forum now, but apparently they don't come up in searches yet. Here's the link to the new old thread. Double Edit: Now I'm confused. That link wasn't in the other thread, but I know I saw it posted somewhere else in this forum. I think I'm going crazy!
