Not read any of them Timber. Though you know I am a huge fan of classic american litrature. I will try a few of them ASAP.

But if we are talking world best and not just USA then Angela's Ashes should be there.
(actually Frank Mccourt is American I think)

This was posted in the poll forum before wasn't it? I wonder what happened to all the posts in the poll forum...

Being almost stricly only a fantasy and science fiction reader I really doubt those books would interest me, but what I'd really like to see is people's opinion of the 25 best novel worldwide.

Edit: Ah, actually, there is a copy of every posts from the poll forum in the General Discussion forum now, but apparently they don't come up in searches yet.
