There really isn't much that can be said to comfort you Ziroc. But, You should know that many here at IW are with you in spirit.

I am so sad to hear about your mom. You have my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences.

I pray that your mother's passing will be painless and that God will carry you and your family through this most difficult time. Your mother's spirit will soon be freed to soar through the infinite skies of Heaven and she will no longer be shackled by the frail mortal shell that holds her now.

I hope your heartbreak and grief will be lessened when you think of her spirit flying free forever.

May God richly bless you with His infinite Grace.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Dan. Your strength in helping your mother through these last months is a testimony to your love for her. You can be sure that she feels this and loves you for it. You are a good man.

I wish I had kept up with the going-ons here in the last year. I am sorry to hear about this.

You may remember that I lost my mother to cancer just before I found you and this haven. I must admit that IronWorks helped me get through it. The community that you have built accepted me, and pulled me in. I am forever grateful to you.

Know that you are in my prayers.

I remember the end, before she slept. I can attest that the pain goes away before the end, and the relief is a joyous thing. I held my mother in my arms as she slept. She awoke, and we spent ten beautiful minutes talking. She was coherent, and peaceful, and happy. After she closed her eyes, she fell asleep again, and passed within the hour. That last sleep was the most peaceful she had been in over a year.

I know that this won't help right now. But it may one day.

I know that any man who has built a community like this must be a wonderful son, and I know she must be proud.

Peace to you and your family. I am here for you.

Wow, I'm sorry you have to go through this. I know what its like, only over a shorter period of time. Just remember that we'll be here to take whatever happens with you... as one of my wise friends once said, "A burdeon shared is easier to bear", or something like that.

I had wondered how she was doing. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. My thoughts are with you. I know what a difficult time this is. I have lost both of my parents and I lost my mother slowly over a long period of time. It is most difficult. Please remember tht we are all here for you. We support and love you.
