Stupid statues

Hey,

I'm a little stuck here. I'm on level 27 or so, and I know that I'm supposed to destroy the statues on each level. Even though I have the bow as my weapon, it still won't shoot at the statue. What am I doing wrong?

I am having the same problem... I've tried everything... just can't get the statues destroyed... HELP!!

Hi,

Are you sure that you are on the right level?

Because if it's the level where you get the bow, then you can do nothing...

It's only the the 2 levels beneath that where you can destroy the statues... And only 1 on each level!

I used magic bomb spell

Just in case you have not been able to destroy the statues yet here are a few suggestions.
1. There is only one statue that can be destroyed in each level.
2. Destroying them with a magic bomb can be difficult.
3. The statues that can be destroyed are in a location that may require a ranged weapon (bow, hand axe, etc.)
4. If you simply cannot hit the statue no matter what you have tried, try holding down the SHIFT KEY and clicking on the statue with a weapon that allows you to attack with some sort of projectile (throwing knife, bow, hand axe, star...)
5. The toughest part is figuring out which statues can be destroyed.

** Additional Note
Remember to get the potions (I can really remember what type, but I think they are Magic by stepping on the correct teleportation plate in the hallway leading to one of the statues you need to destroy. The hallway is full of these little plates. The one you need to step on is near the upper-right hand corner when you are looking down the hallway at the statue.
