Where is Edwin? I'm in chapter 6 and I dont believe I ever ran into him.

He can be found easily if you have Yoshimo in your party and go to the docks district in Chapter two.Though I suppose getting him at your point in the game is worthless.

I meet Edwin when you agree to help Renal Bloodscalp investigate Maevar guild. I don't think you need Yoshimo in your party, it simply helps a little.

Nothing at all. All it does is restrict him from using an amulet. Probably because if you made him wear the necklace of form stability he coudn't become a woman.

actually, his amulet is an undroppable magic item that gives him the extra two spells per level, thus making him a strong frontrunner for best npc mage (though a 19 INT wouldn't hurt... potions of genius, anyone?)

Actually the necklace does nothing. He gets bonus spells for being a specialist, and for being a Red Wizard of Thay. It is simply a memento of his former home.
