1) Usually you will be around level 25 at the end of HOTU.

2) Yes levels after 21 are epic levels

3) Epic classes do not contribute to the 20% XP Penalty

However, you will still be incurring the penatly due to the fighter/sorc levels, unless you are human or half elf, I think both of those ignore the highest level class. I find Arcane Archers, and Assassin's to be great classes, and Weapon Master is great as well. I have heard great things about Pale Masters, but I'm not very much into spell casters.

Yeah in his case he is a human so he definately won't be getting a Xp penalty.

Pale masters work great with melee classes.

Oh, another point, the prestige classes don't count, so they can be really skewed, so if you wanted to, you could run RDD all the way out to char lvl 40 with no penalty, not sure why you'd want to, but you could. The same applies to any of the Prestige classes.

another dumb question, i realise im using up my quota for this year .

Is it possible to have the monks fist in the quick item slot? I haven't figured out how to and its quite frustrating having to bring up the inventory screen to lose the crossbow.

I have finished hotu and have started on the pirates premium module.

It isn't possible to place the fist into the quick slot as far as I know, however, you can place your crossbow into a quick slot, and you can simply use that to equip/unequip it, which will therefore leave you with your fist once unequipped .

lol, big thanks to all who have continually answered my questions. I think im turning into an addict...

One more question if i may.

I have been downloading and playing a lot of modules, these require various hak's etc etc. Due to space restrictions on this ageing HD i have to delete (copy) some of the mod's. My hak's folder is bulging at the sides, and i know for sure some of them aren't needed, is their an easy way to find out which ones aren't being used or maybe a utility to assist in the management of these various downloaded stuff?

I have searched but haven't found anything like it, so i'll guess not.

Once again, thanks to everyone for your inputs and answers, it has made playing and learning easier and more enjoyable.

Which Operating System do you use, Alan?

I use Windows XP.
I click the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. I drill down through the folders ( Neverwinter Nights -> NWN -> modules)
Then I click on the 'View' menu.
I click on "Details" to show the file name, type, size, Date Modified...
If the "Date Accessed" cloumn is not there I click on "Choose Details" in the 'View' menu; then check the box beside "Date Accessed"; then click "OK"
To sort by "Date Accessed" I just click the column title.

For Apple Macintosh or Linux systems you will have to wait until someone else explains it to you.

I hope this helps
