*sigh* I dont really wish to learn Texan. you see, theres enough Americanisms already on the Mother Tounge *grin* I really dont wish to polute my speech any further then it already is. *sigh* these american abomintions really curropt and ruin the English Language. *grin* Why oh WHY can't they speech properly, or spell things correctly... Downunnda, No worries. You have passed the language test and are now an honorary Texan. You are entitled to an armadillo to put in the pouch of the closest kangaroo. Caleathis; I suggest that you retire to the nearest chesterfield to recover from the uncivilized provincialisms of another ungrateful colonist. As regards your reference to the mother tongue: at least I didn't say (or think) "YOUR MUTTHA!".

Don't I even get points for knowing what a chesterfield is? And for your information Texan is it's own language, native to the sovereign Republic of Texas from the 1820's. Any resembelance between American English and Texan is a result of carpetbagger's stealing everything, including the language, during Reconstruction.
