Arrow pointing towards grave: I'm with Stupid

He drove too fast
Had a blast,
And breathed his last

How about; This is all YOUR fault!

or Next!

Personally, I want mine to say Finally!

For a set of two; one has a hand pointing to the next one that says I'm with stupid and the second one says She insisted I read the map!

That reminds me of Haer'Delis's line when he dies in Baldur's Gate 2:
"At last... oblivion"

I love that one!!

LOL...........absolutely hilarious!

I'd say "THE ONE NEXT TO ME IS STILL BURIED ALIVE" or something.

Or how about "TREASURE TO THE NORTH OF ME"

(Think about how many goats would actually go for it )

For those who speak Dutch, I've always adored the line on the tombstone of the poet Poot:

Hier ligt Poot
Hij is dood

I also love Keats's epitaph (thanks for mentioning it, Djinn ) and Oscar Wilde's beautiful monument with the inscription from his poem The Ballad of Reading Gaol:

And alien tears will fill for him
Pity's long-broken urn
For his mourners will be outcast men
And outcasts always mourn

(visited his grave at Pére-Lachaise in Paris)

Come to think of it, another quote from that same poem would be a beautiful epitaph as well:

And the wild regrets and the bloody sweats
None knew so well as I
For he who lives more lives than one
More deaths than one must die

Or even:

For each man kills the thing he loves
By each let this be heard
Some do it with a bitter look
Some with a flattering word
The coward does it with a kiss
The brave man with a sword

LOL! That reminded me of a story my Gov't. teacher told of one of her older relatives who left a note when she died that read "I buried gold on this property."
Her surviving family members tore her house apart, furniture, floors, walls, EVERYTHING.
They dug up her yards and eventually found a metal box with a note in it that read "Ha Ha!"
By the time they were done, there was nothing but a pile of rubble where her house had stood.
Apparently, she knew they would do just that and got a kick out of the possibility of leaving them nothing, which is just what they got after tearing it all apart.
