I think, they have to give the people what they want, if you would have low lev and hard time (BTW: I would love a game for hardcore Pnp based on Ravenloft, see in general forum
 ), I would be happy and so would most hardcore pnp players but you would get people on forums whining of the lack of hack and slach,ex: (hack&Slacher): --It's not fair I can't kill the vampire lord, I want him dead dead dead dead MDK!!!! so I can get his +2 Von Zarovich familly sword-- (PNPer): --No no, you have to deal with him to get the location of Barovian forest to find the mayor's dauther, then he'll trick you and turn her in a vampire...-- (hack&Slacher): --after that can I kill him???? I want his sword, It's been three days I am stuck at level 3... I am tired there is nothing to kill this game sucks!!!!  --Unfortunatly they have to give what sells generally and not what hardcord fans would like to have. (Ie: Planscape Torment RPG Game of the year 1999, fans loved it! non-fans complained of the lack of fighting  or mist suposedly one of the greatest, chalanges ever created, what did most people did? they when I got the walkthrouh! |

250, I totally agree with you, they did make it to easy. I felt a little more justified when I played at insane however.
