Thumbs Up Anyone watching the U-17 FIFA World cup?

Just started few days ago. Syria drew 0-0 with Argentina after a nice performance. Great start! Next match against Spain.

(some of you might know from my earlier posts that I'm Syrian).

And Brazil-England match coming up. Brazil already has 13 goals from 2 matches. Should be good to watch.

They don't pay any attention to it here, so that must mean there is no Dutch delegation participating.

I have to admit I didn't even know it existed.

No I didn't know it was on either, there does not seem to be much press for it. I guess bad timing here in the UK with the start of the Prem. league.
Can't believe England drew with Korea DPR, but a good win over NZ. I guess Eng, will have to get a draw with Brazil to go through for sure, but I can't see that happening with the way Brazil have been playing!

Actually you're wrong here.

The world cup comes in 2 flavours only: U20 and U17 (in addition to the regualr one)

It is the Europe (UEFA) cup that is U21 and U19 (and U17 too).

EDIT:
Syria was 1-1 with Spain till the 90th minute. They scored in added time. Lost 1-2

By the way, for those of you who might be interested, if you want to watch the matches live you can do so on this page

http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/livecoverage/index.html

The quality might not be greatest but is still bearable and better than nothing if (like in my case) your TV channels do not cover it.

(For some reason I have to use IE to watch them as firefox doesn't seem to work)
