Ummmmm.... Ziroc? Why has the flood-control time been increased to 80 seconds? When it was 60, I agree, it stopped stupid, pointless spam, but now it's a slight annoyance for me because I can type fast enough to get off two posts that are not either stupid or pointless in less than 80 seconds.

I've just been posting non-spam and have run into the flood-control a few times while doing so.

Well, I type 82 WPM and none of my posts are important because I strive for mediocrity. I would bet most of my belongings that this reply would elicit little more than a yawn and a sigh from any who would read it. The wise among you already know to read something else when you see my username and fully utilize the scrolling mechanism to skim past whatever blatherings I type.

Yes, I agree that the flood control-prelonging is very annoying!
Why was it made longer anyway?

Look Neb, I HAVE to set it to 80 seconds because bandwidth is NOT free. It's either that, or no Forum. We are using like 60% of the bandwidth of my friends ISP anyway. Be lucky he doesn't mind. 80 seconds isn't going to kill ya, and it was 80 for a long time before too.

In other words-- it's free, shad-ap!
