I heard that there was another one. I killed Vivec and found the 'unique dwermer artifact' but I was wondering if there was a way to get to it without killing him..?

-Follow the main quest properly and vivec will reward you a wraithguard.
-if you follow the evil way, after you get the " unique dwemer artifact ". Go to Tel Fry and visit the last remaining dwemer Yagrum. do what Yagrum tell you to do. |

Yes, you can get two wraithguards, but they are both right bracer, so you can wear only one... maybe the editor might help there...
spoiler - - - - - - - Beware, the artifact, although repaired by Yagrum, will deal you damage, plenty of it, the first time you wear it. So be prepared with fortify health

I just check the TES : editor, looks like you can have a pair of wraithguards. one left one right.

Yes you are right, I checked as well... it seems that the wraithguard you rightfully get from vivec is right, the one you can get by killing him is left...wow! I just thought they would be both right!
