Favorite Fruits.....and least favorite

And I don't mean the likes of Elton John!

My absolute favorite fruit in all of existence is: cherries (especially maraschinos)

but also close runners up:

Fresh, sweet strawberries
Bananas
Seedless white grapes
Perfectly ripe cantaloupe
Peaches (duh, I'm from Georgia )
Sweet yet tangy apples
Pineapple
Guava and Passion Fruit
Sometimes nectarines and plums

Least favorite: Plantains - can't understand this 'fruit', Pears (too grainy) and any 'pruned' fruit (blech!)

I remember an exit off of Rt 95 through GA that said "Exit to view the Peach". It had a monstrous peach on the side of the Highway. That will always stick in my memory. Rt. 285 still wakes me in the middle of the night with cold sweats.

I didn't know that African bananas were a fruit too..in that case, the
African banana would be on the top of the list, followed by strawberries,
unless watermelons are fruit, in that case watermelons would become
third, making bananas fourth, as the swallow flies...
