Owww Cloudy what a great topic...
My boyfriend just told me what I'm going to get for my birthday next week:
a HAMSTER!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY I'm so happy. We're going to a pet store tomorrow to look for a cage, drinkbottle, a wheel for it to run in etc etc.
Hey people, no Minsc and Boo jokes ok???
I'm really thrilled about this gift, I can't have a cat as my room's too small and my bf's allergic to them, but a hamster would be just the right size and much more cuddly than a goldfish

Melusine!

Happy Hamster Day...er, when it happens!
Got a name for him/her yet? Hammie? (teehee), Hamlet (teeheehee) Boowinkle..hahahahaha...

Uh, sorry, Mels...just a bit punchdrunk here...too little sleep and allergies...
That is so nice of Sebastian! And now you'll have a widdle fuzzy cuddly hamster...who hopefully won't bite! What kind of hamster will you get, do you know? I never had one, but know lots of people who have had the little fuzzers. They come in lots of sizes and colors and even long or short haired varieties!

Cloudyhamster
I have had two hamsters in the past; one was of the ordinary variety, a goldhamster (looks like Boo) and the other one was a Russian hamster, whcih is a smaller, brownstriped hamster. I think I will choose an ordinary one as they are less likely to bite or be aggressive.
No, I haven't thought of a name yet....... hmmmm... ~lightbulb appears above Melusine's head~
