HOW THE HELL DO I MAKE A NEW RACE?!?!?!?!?!

i HAVE BIN TRYING AND TRYING TO MAKE A NEW RACE, THE DWARVES, AND I CANT FIND OUT HOW TO DO TWO THINGS, ADD SPECIAL ABILITIES AND HOW TO MAKE THE FACES AND BODY PARTS OF THE DWARVES(BEARDED AND SHORT). IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THESE THINGS POST IT PLEASE!

well for the attributes you can do that in the editor (dont know how exactly because i havent bothered messing with that part of the editor)
for making the body parts. your going to have to use a 3d modeling program which takes a lot more skill than i have.
i would also recommend checking the mod forum at www.elderscrolls.com
(you can turn off your 'always run' now)

also when creating your char you have to be able to see the 3 little arrow bars down below your portrait. ones for sex, ones for facial, and the last is for hair. your asking one of the simpliest questions in the game. if you cant change the pic then maybe you got a bad copy.

What was that about the face parts? and i want to use nord body parts to make the dwaarf how do i do that? one last thing, where do i get a 3d editor?

Your best bet for making a new race is to use existing models, ie the Nords, and just modify the racial attributes to create your new race. In order to make completely new models, you need two programs, 3d Studio Max and Adobe Photoshop. If you have no previous experience in modeling or programming then I suggest sticking with what you can do in the Morrowind editor. If you have Photoshop or a similarly capable graphics program, you can retexture the existing models to match a dwarf, which is another fairly easy option. You can use the orc model, draw your new textures, and use that as your dwarf body.

I'm only 15 and get 20 dollars a month for allowance. The editor you recomended costs 3,000 dollars. So unless I spend my next 12 and a half years on an editor ill need to know where to download a free one or a demo that will suit my needs. but thanks for the tip anyway

unfortunately, 3dstudio max, is the only one capable of doing what your suggesting. There are no other options.
and i'm not aware of a free demo.
