I never did like Ravenloft either. I tried playing "Strahd's Possession" years ago, and dropped it after I lost interest. Oh well...

This book is brilliant. James Lowder is a good writer, he wrote Prince of Lies and Crucible, and edited the Avatar Trilogy. Very dark and moody atmosphere. Get it by all means.
