Is it possible to import my Baldur's Gate character into NWN? If so how can I do this?
Thanks.

No, it is not possible!!!! While the game BGII game says it is possible. NWN ended up using 3rd edition rules making it quite impossible to import your BG character to the NWN games. When BGII came out they had not started creating NWN so NWN ended up being different then what the developers of BGII had thought when they released BGII, so that one message you get when BGII loads is an unintentional lie.

Aw..... that's so dissapointing! After I finished my guy now, I was going to use my Maximus from BGII... just have to recreate him, I suppose...

That's too bad.
Well in that case are there any game editors or ways to create a character without rolling endless stats? I don't want to cheat but I would like to pseudo import my character. Just remake him with his current stats and such and start off level 1.

There's no rolling for stats in 3E, and they work slightly differently (there's no cap at 25, for one). But you can certainly adapt your character. The easiest program to use for that would be LETO. Alternatively, you can use the console commands.
The game might view the character as illegal if the maths for stats and everything do not add up, but you can decide whether or not that should keep you from using the character by changing the ELC settings in the ini file. |

I would have loved it to transfer my BGII Character over, but purely for the RP purposes really. Creating a new char on NWN is a big process and there are so many more different things to do on NWN character creation, you would really be making a new character if you imported anyway, all that would be the same really is the name, race and class.
