I wouldn't say very useful. I never had a single problem with lack of money in BG2 whatsoever. So unless you buy ALOT of stuff (unneeded since the best stuff is free) this is no big deal.

Minsc usually hits people with Lilarcor for about 50 damage. Lilarcor rocks!!! Link (main char) is wielding the Psionic Blade +5, which is awsome!!!!

Uh..what? Did u said 50? Which level your minsc is?
My Minsc is level 13 or 14 and fights with two weapon style (dual wielding, not two-handed) and his avearge damage is 20 oe 25. I though that dual wielding is better for minsc I may be wrong?
