Unless it's the STi or EVO VII. Both Soob and Mitsu make very satisfactory AWD rides... but I'd take the Audi TT over either (an outstanding car).

And the 959 is my all time favorite AWD. Germans KNOW AWD.

And this opinion from someone who is 100% happy with the two Subaru's he owns (96 Outback and 00 GT Limited).

My mate owns a 20 odd year old, mint condition, Audi Quattro Turbo.

I think it was the first Quattro? It's the rally car one, 2.3 (2.2 Turbo). It's just awesome!
Subaru have done a great job of making AWD accessible to the everyday Joe as well and when it comes to value for money you can't go past the Rex - it's a shame it looks so pedestrian. Sorry but that Mitsi is just outrageously expensive here in OZ ($A80000!!). Compare that to the STi which is A$55000 and there's no contest - the Evo looks like a cheap Lancer inside as well. Audi make brilliant AWDs, but, THE AWD supercar I want is this one (if I ever get rid of my GTV):

The Alfa Romeo 156GTAm - 300bhp and less weight than the GTA, which already does the 0-100 in 6 secs. Plus it looks pretty, too.

Sadly we don't get Alpha's in the States... although I see older models around on occasion.

Looks like a Ferrari 348 Spider, from the badge and the sidestrakes.
