and I hear he is trying to get big daddy Shaq to play. I know him and some other superstars were upset by the US' poor performance in world championships.
Maybe next olympics we will really have a dream team again. Maybe we could get phil jackson to coach it, they will win for sure.

Because you didn't absolutely own everyone else at the 2000 Olympics quite like as in '96 and '92. And, uh, don't you guys win for sure anyways?

This is not a dig at Americans. This is rather an expression of annoyance at the fact that there were a lot of people (Canadians included) who whined about the composition of the US team, and how they could have done better. I mean, goodness me, they won the frickin' gold didn't they?
