So I have 2 new skills should I place points in mooncraft, or Kung Fu? I am thinking it best to build up the moon spells before putting points in Kung Fu. My Ninja uses swords so will Kung Fu allow him to do additional damage with his feet? My Ninja was originally a thief so should I put any more skills in lock picking when my cleric, has disarm trap?

I have started on the Serpant Temple.

Well if you haven´t got any other spell caster who´s able to train in moon craft, train your ninja! The high level moon spells are a must. Kung Fu isn´t as good as swords, especially when you get prowess, gallantry and 2nd weapon. You will be able to do heave damage with swords and those skills. As far as lock picking goes, that depends on your skill level. I usually end up with a lock pick skill level of eight. That´s more than enough, especially with lock picks in your back pocket.

Thank's!!!! Moon craft it is then. I have a wizard but I am not upgrading to warlock for awhile. My lockpicking is currently level 6 which should be enough for the Serpant Temple so I will upgrade that skill again leter on concentrating points on moon craft. So I don't need Kung Fu for my Ninja. My cleric will be becoming a Monk soon I guess it is better for the monk to have Kung Fu. My cleric currently has a point in the staff. Most points are in Artifacts, and Vine. I believe the Monk will be able to learn spirit craft so I have neglected to put many points in this currently.

As to the issue about mooncraft, you must remember that unless your character is a member of either the Priest Guild or the Wizards Guild from a previous role you will not be able to train mooncraft in any guild. Therefore you should apply your characteristics points on mooncraft when ascending levels with your character. Otherwise you might risk occasionally having to level up your character without being able to learn a new spell since your mooncraft level is not high enough. If your ninja has only had the rogue role previously then it will only be eligible for membership of the Rouge's Guild, the Warrior's Guild, and the Bushi Dojo.

My take on it: One point, perhaps two in Mooncraft, and that's it.

You can always train in Mooncraft at both the wizard's guild and temple, so in three levels of training, you can be at level 7 Moon if you spend just one skill point.

Kung Fu can be trained at the guilds as well, IIRC, so I'd never waste a point there. Ditto for traps and locks; I'm level 12 by the end game, no matter the character at the start.

Instead, spend your points on skills that can't be trained, like Gallantry, Prowess, and Sorcery. I put mine into the skill closest to the bottom of the list, since once it scrolls off, it's gone for good (pending a class change to a wimpy class).

And again, any way you play it is right. Just have fun while you do it.

Question to Bungleau! ( or who get's it first )

What about those 'trait' skills? When the page is entirely full, they scrolls off, but do you still have that skill?
I think you have, but is there any way to get know those traits?
I mean that, when I finish the game, I would want to write down all information about my characters, but don't remember all traits and skill that he/she has
Is there any way to get viewed all characters information?
Does editor show all statics?

it's true that the top spells of mooncraft is a must have for travelling...... there's the create portal spell, teleport spell which is connected to the create portal spell and last of all, the Call of Home!!!
so i would go for mooncraft 1st as it is !

Write down the information while you can still see it on the character screen. Once it scrolls off, you still have the traits but you cannot view them nor can you increase them (unless using the character editor which is out there somewhere allows you to do so, haven't used it so don't know).

Wyvern's got the answer. Once you've got a trait or skill, you've always got it. Once it scrolls off the screen, you can't see it (for a trait) or apply skill points to it (for a skill). But you can still use it.

Dont forget the value of a Bard!!
Allows you to be Rogues Guild and allows you to train in Moon Magic

Moon magic is amazing

You wonder how you ever did without it
