ROTFL! I love checking in on my lunch hour! You folk sure are fun to hang out with! NOW, can someone put domingo on the sofa before anyone else trips over him?! Moridin...er.. the Kaz-created one is uh..nextdoor, yah that's it.. feature reggae and this one is uh.. having a jazz and pop festival today.. yah that's it!

Gwhanos is an evil demon-spawn and his is a FAKE Cafe...*huge grin* but he'll be along to wash the windows with his tongue for your entertainment soon. Try not to throw large coins at him, it might startle him and I'd hate to see a squished Gwhanos on our sidewalk!

But if we delete the old cafe, all the posts we got there will disappear I do want to make dragon sometime this week Maybe if we close the old cafe thread? But only the almighty ZIROC, a mod or the person who posted the thread can do that, or?

In your response to the merger question in the other thread...we are stil in the process of merging, but we are more or less complete in my department. Since our HQ are officially here in the Cities our department survived...so all the work from the other bank's treasury came over as of Aug 1! Let's just say August was a bit stressful

And yes it is the banker's blood that drives my facsination with numbers

Don't delete it Kaz. Let it sink or fill it in till it gets to 8 pages or so and post a move notice and the url of whatever is our current cafe

BTW, if a thread is deleted, you don't lose the number of posts.

SIGH.. People, I REALLY can't stress enough that your NUMBERS are meaningless. What counts is how you post, how you interact and the substance of your posts. Few of the regulars are going to even look at numbers other than in passing. ANYONE can rack up numbers with posts that have little meaning, use or value. What makes an impact and makes you memorable is how you choose to communicate with the others on the board. Show respect, listen, chime in when you have something to say and enjoy your time here. It's not a race, it's a community and in our little corner of the world, we want to know you, the person, not you the posting rank.

Moridin! Wow, I'm glad your division is intact. I remember you were a bit frazzled last month Mergers are a major pain, corporate or academic. Been through the latter a few times, myself. You spend a long time picking up the pieces afterwards.

You moved to new office buildings, right? I remember you are closer to home now. That must be nice at rush hour!
