Since I have no one else to help me carry stuff, I keep on heading in to the town to sell / identify my stuff. There's a TON of stuff in the castle..

I'll post a full update later today, when I complete the castle (just one more element, the one in the puzzle room)

I just wanted to share this.

I woke up several times last night, thanks to the games. memnoch posted a thread on a new demon lord in TOB, and I received a DIRECT challenge from the group re: my solo ranger. I was thinking 'bout it, and I dreamed. SCARY stuff.

But then, just before waking this morning, I dreamt I was in the castle. I was walking in the corridors, and I re-traced my steps to the ritual circle. When I woke up, I went into a save game, and followed my dream. RIGHT TO THE ROOM.

I found a way to beat the mazes in the game, I'll sleep on it !!!!

That is a FRIGHTENING thought, Wyvern!

Actually, I have had dreams about games as well...none about the Gael Serran, though. When I was in the hospital last year (and rather drugged up, I might add), I was having a very elaborate ongoing dream about an adventure quest in which the game started out with some VERY intense monsters (rabid horses) attacking if you went too far...I had to go to a nearby castle and clear it out and get special weapons to slay them before proceeding. I can remember being most incensed during the dream that such opponents were placed at the start of the game, until I figured out the strategy...

and that's six months before I ever played W&W and encountered Mantraps!

I'm VERY glad to say, as well, that the game I dreamed was a 1st-person game!

Ever "reloaded" your dreams?? I've done that many times - didn't like the way something was spinning out, so reload it and take it off in a more productive direction!

If it makes you feel any better, I dreamt about the Mavin last night....

Oh, and if you think you ready, start dreaming about the stout mines. (sigh)

Erg...no thank you! I just finished the Stout Mines again with my latest group. Was glad to get through there! I'm about to go get boogred, but I want to level up my new Assassin before I do, as there's NO going back to town to train until you finish that dungeon. *sigh*

When you go to the Boogre Prison, you get turned into a boogre. It is part of the game and the way to change back to normal is in the dungeon, but you cannot get out until you complete the dungeon. All the other dungeons let you out once you are in and you can complete it in pieces. I think it is kind of funny being a boogre, but it can be frustrating as well. I often imagine my ninja or assasin as a bumbling boogre. Even the simple act of reading a scroll could be difficult. I can just picture him pulling open a scroll and pulling too hard.
