[/QUOTE]i dont know if i am right, but i think that they keep it airtight to stop bacterias from entering the can, hence stopping fermentation. (I did'nt say anything about being spoiled ^^)

Are you drunk now Larry? the grape is an alcohol bomb if is not fresh when freezing it down be sure the temprature is minus 20 -C before doing it
