Mr. Harris, I commend you for revealing the dirty little secret. What we do counts, not what others think of us. It's MUCH easier to get forgiveness than permission. Can I buy you a drink?...Crown Royal, I believe it is...

IMO this is not the time for us to get heavy handed... we've proven time and time again that while building concensus is difficult, it's a MUCH more viable approach to solving these problems in the long run.

Of course there's a lot of appeal in the US for the idea of just doing the job and having it done with... one of the policies I live by is something an exec told me years ago...

A concensus is probibly the best approach, but it is what got us in the situation we are in with "Sodanm Insane".

"It's always better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission"
A Motto I try to live by also! "Do something anything it's always better to ask forgiveness than to ask premission"

hmm you will have to deal with the millions of innocent civilians who are hungrey and homeless.

What should the US worry if one of its pilots is being interrogated as a prisoner? The US has been doing this to taleban prisoners. Just another example of the hypocrisy of the USA.

BULLSHIT! Since when did we interrogate a prisoner of war for 10 years? Little a lone hold them in secret. That is just so much rubbish and you know it! It is not the same and never will be the same.
