I’m now on the last of David Eddings Sparhawk books, but what should I read next, I’m tempted to try Kevin J Andersons Saga of the seven suns, has anyone read those or is there another good suggestion?
Cheers

Have you read Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials? If not, then I advise you to do so. It's a really refreshing take on fantasy.

You could try one of my favorites ...

The Cadwell Chronicles by Jack Vance. ( Trilogy )
1. Araminta Station
2. Ecce and Old Earth
3. Throy

Science fiction, but "technology" is pushed way into the background, whats important is the people and the alien cultures.

Link, yes I've read the Dark Materials book, very good I did enjoy them...I heard that Peter Jackson had the movie rights to them, don't know if that's true, but he would make some good films!!
Pangur, not head of those might look into them.
Cheers
