Why does it say no pixies in the bar? it is because the bar keeper doesnt like 'em or is it b-cuz they can't be trusted or are weird? is it b-cuz they can't take more than 1-2 drinks b-cuz of their small weight? Whenever i've gone into a bar (as i recall i had a pixie in the party)the barkeeper never really cared. Anyone know if this was part of the game that was left out when it was hurried to be shiped or just a conspiracy against pixies?

It was put in there by the artist (Scott). Nothing secret or hidden about it. It was just a trivial joke to help spice up the scene

I think it said something else before pixies though and DWB asked for a change. Can't remember what it was though!

I seen that sign as well and just to see what happens, I had my pixie go in and talk to the guy and bought a couple of beers. Of course, after that he was his best customer, imagine that.

D*one: Perhaps your pixie was wearing an Oomphaz mask?

Actually, now that I think about it -- it DID originally say PIXIES. It was changed to something like TROLLS, because someone didn't want people playing pixies to feel alienated (sheesh). But, the original one made it back into the game.

Not sure if it was by accident or choice.

The reason is simple, when larger creatures have too much to drink they tend to mistake pixies for bar snacks. The law suits involved arent worth the effort. Especially after the fiasco where the entire pixie nation sued the Ishab'Nha Tavern for an estimated sum that even Elmansendor would have problems paying. The share of settlement profits earned by the firm of Ratling and co was even able to enable them to move thier practice out of the theives guild, which is just as well as the thieves felt the lawyers were giving honest theivery a bad name.
