Haha! Well I was only about 12 or so when I watched Soul Train, most of my entertainment I got out of it was all the outfits and the wild ass dancing. Some of the moves were really hilarious and extravagant to say the least LOL!

Shame on you, no TV in your computer room? The Horror! I have a huge desk with my monitor and a small color TV side by side here LOL. I sit in a couch chair and have two four foot speakers on both sides, 55 Gallon fish tank and HP Laser Jet to the left Get with the program, sheesh

Oh, no kidding! I think I loved the "line dance" when they'd line up and dance through the line the best...also the outrageous outfits.

Oh, Wendy, I'm a helpless Luddite...I've got a computer and a phone in my room and that's it. Maybe when HDTV comes out, I'll get a combination computer/TV...concept!

Cheers,
-Saz

Just can't imagine LOL a blank room, just a computer and a phone.. *shudder* How lonely and drab!, yes you need to work on that, atmosphere is everything! Not just a TV, that is just a preference, but lights and pictures on the wall, plants, a fish tank really is also a visual beauty, if you take it seriously though (they ARE pets, not just decoration, and should be treated as such, some people don't get that). They are just calming to watch mostly Basically, what I'm sayin is..., you need to invest in an entertainment CENTRE. Yes that's right. No need to hire any expensive decorators, you can do this yourself! Uh huh yes I see your are interested now! Yep! Not kidding! You too can swim in the gift that is electricity, just a Heavy UP or two, new plugs, and feel the hair on your head stand out, it's party tahm. Sorry, in a silly mood this evening, Friday and all... LOL silly lady, you should SEE what this room looks like! Paintings all over the walls, bookcases, books all over the place...heh, need to clean up here a bit as well, I see.

A fishtank is an idea, but I may move some ratties up here instead if I get any new ones. Well, this room is kind of done in early American frathouse, down to the cinderblocks and planks for the stereo set! My wife leaves it alone.

Cheers,
-Saz

Trying to picture room, failure vs. confusion... Painting and bookcases, yet planks and cinderblocks as well LOL?! Well of course the sweeties of the rodent kind would be just as good as a fish tank, if not better! Bet there is an orphan sitting somewhere right now thinking "when is daddy gonna come and get me"

Oh c'mon, you liked Disco, admit it! You are such a brooder, you need a bit of Disco to frivilize your soul LOL. Just smile and dance and sing, let it all out now, shake that groove thing yah yeeahh!
In 1977 I was 17 and disco was what the girls liked. I tried to go with it, but I was saved from it by bands like Kansas, Styx, & ELO. I didn't have a lot of dates then, either!

Moni!

Where were you in the late 70s. I could have asked you out on a date! You were just the kind of girl disco-haters like me would die for!

I was in New Bedford,Massachusetts.
