It's only tenuously related to the topic, but - interestingly enough - the artist from Nashkel, Prism, sculpted a woman's face from a cliff. Just as he dies, he calls the name of the woman he saw but once - 'Ellesime'.

I never bothered to do the prism quest how did it turn out.

Although it's BG1 related, Prism quest is like this: you talk to the guy, agree to protect him from Greywolf, Greywolf shows up, you kill him and get his kick-ass sword, talk to Prism, he finishes his statue of Ellisime and dies. You can take two emeralds you find on him to Bounty hunter guy, but his deal is a rip off, he gives you 300 gold and 200 exp for two emeralds, which you can sell for (I think) 1500 each.
