Looking out my open 28th floor window, the sky is a pinkish orange hue, with blueish clouds. The water reflects the skys colour. Ships with now visible lights are passing Lady Liberty, and a cooling breeze scented with recent rain is blowing through the floorboarded, largely windowed aparment. Men are playing soccer in a park below as others jog by the riverside. Over the river to my right, Jersey is touched by a light mist or foggy haze, and planes, and the traffic below sing a dull hum of constant action. Soon I will alight to the rooftop to watch the evening darken and the lights of the city brighten. They will soon entice me down to the street to the sounds smells and peoples, where I will find a "jam" to "sit in" on.

Happy 'jam' hunting

Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig
I've got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time

Ah you have to love the city. You're lucky Yorick, being able to see that every day.
