Heya guys and gals

First, I know this is posted at alot of other forums, but I know that even now, in the age of the multi-forumer, there are still a select few who limit themselves to just one or two places, and seeing as this is Reeka's home away from home, somehting should be posted here, I thought

My sweetheart had her open-heart surgery on the 13th, and after a successful 4-hour operation, the doctor was very encouraged by the way it went. She seemed to get her colour back almost instantly, and was transferred (as is standard procedure) to Intensive Care for the night.

She is now in "stable" condition officially, and is out of ICU. Her family have seen her, and she has spoken to Zeeke, and everything seems to be going well. She's drugged up, so is very sleepy, but is not in a great deal of pain. She's sore, but not in agony

Well, that's all for now folks. I'll keep you updated on the state of my dearest

As I said on TSR, I'm really glad to hear that the operation went fine. Give her my best regards, when she sorta wakes up again.

Hey Barden say hi to Reeka for me. As I've said at TSR, MD and where ever else I've seen this, I've been routing for her the entire time.

Ok guys, here's the latest.

I talked to Reeka tonight on the phone, and she sounded a 100% better!!! She slept all day and night yesterday, so is very well rested, and some people are saying that she's even approaching "perky".

She's still not in much pain, but "sore", as she puts it. She said that you have no idea how much you use your chest muscles, until they hurt and you feel it every time you do!

The doctor's said today that she's recovering so well and so quickly, there is a *CHANCE* that she might get to go home tomorrow!!!!!! She won't know until tomorrow afternoon if she gets to or not, but she's not counting on it yet. So, keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and she'll be back on her feet in no time!

I'll post again tomorrow, after I talk to her and find out what the plan is.

To hear that she is making such great progress so soon after open heart surgery is just fantastic.
