Remember with the Factions preview we were level 20 and saw the majority of the new areas. Here we saw only the starter area, it links in with both factions & prophecies, customizable heroes and 2 new classes.

I loved it!

I liked it - obviously we were in the "pre-searing" areas as it were. The mix looks good because I ended up at L17 coming out of the final mission, and felt equipped to kick on to the rest of the game in the same vein as the L20's from Tyria and Cantha that will transfer in to the mainland.

The picture I get is a game played by L20 transfers, and by L20 developed characters. I think Factions got the mix wrong be developing from L1 - 20 so very quickly. The game cant however develop as slowy as did Prophecies because you have to give the L20 transfers something to challenge them.

I can see myself bringing my main warrior dude along to get strainght into the storyline, and creating a paragon for the start to finish experience.

As for tactics, I'm going to get my ele through the whole Nightfall campaign before starting off a new character.....

Just itching to get my hands on the new fire and earth skills

I want the necro armor. (Ele armor is pretty, too, but none can compare to the nec!)

Doubtful we'll get NF right away, though. There've been NO pre-release packs anywhere near - not even Amazon unless we're willing to pay between $10 and $25 @ plus shipping, and we're not. So, likely we'll slowly pick up our three copies before Yule and *sigh* once again, set out to Save the World. ;D

I won't be able to get Nightfall at release day.

I'm saving for an Xbox 360 for Mass Effect, and that's where my gaming budget is going for now...
