Went to do the fallen paladin quest but seems that something went wrong. Went to the bridge district as directed by the radiant heart. Got there and say 4 paladins talking then fighting with smugglers. The last smuggler killed the main palading and then everybody dissapeared. Cant find them anywhere in the bridge district. Went back tothe Radiant Heart and he says that I have no news. Where did I go wrong?? Hope you guys can help.

Simple. Reload to a previous savegame and make sure the main paladin *doesn't* die this time. If he dies, the accompanying quest is suddenly impossible... So I'd advice you to reload and retry. Maybe help the thieves out a bit even. After the battle, talk with that paladin to continue the quest.

I had almost the same thing happen to me except I saw them and watched them fight without getting involved. After the battle the fallen paladins proceeded to walk right past me and then they were gone. That was it and I had to go back to the autosave and try again but this time fight the baddies with them and they initiated conversation with me afterwards.

I moved everyone back and had an inviz mage hit the area with a cloudkill and retreated him until the melee was over.
The paladins still survived, but I thought it a nice touch.

You need to cause some damage to any of the smugglers. Then the pally leader will thank you for your help and the quest continues.
