Angel being cancelled

It seems it's all over for Joss Whedon's Angel at the end of the season...

Pity, season 5 has been one of the funniest and best seasons of the show since it started, and has in my opinion reached its fullest potential; something which Buffy the Vampire Slayer was never really able to reach.
Oh well, better to quit when it's at its best, I suppose.

I think the first few seasons were great, but it started getting after that. *yawn* another apocalypse.

hey angel was better than buffy if you asked me..

its a shame i never get to watched all of it. i only watched certain parts.. and now its not showing here in australia.. (local)

Buffy became boring because they kept on coming with new-uber enemies. That way no powerful enemy is that special anymore. The Master (from the first season) is a sissy if you'd ask me in comparison with the other creeps Buffy has faced.

I liked Angel too but he never had "Vampire" ailities like invisibility.

Well, neither Angel nor Buffy are made by Vampire or World of Darkness rules, so that's why they don't have any special powers except makeing an ugly face and going to flames in sunlight.

I like Angel. The show is fun and funny and I always love to see it if I can.

Maybe not, but he was pretty stealthy. And I agree that Angel was more fun to watch then Buffy. Simply because Angel had more 'down to earth' enemies such as Darla and Wolfram and Hart. Even the Beast (and companion) in the last season weren't quite as bad as say.. Glory. Not to mention that Angel got all my favorite characters from Buffy. Such as Cordy and Wesley. Compare their dialogue to the sad attempts at humor in Buffy, it's a world of difference.
