There are two ways of changing the difficulty setting of a game:
1. While playing you can click on the button that brings up the save game options window. Click the 'gameplay' button. On the new window you should find an option to change the difficulty setting by sliding a tab along a horizontal scale. 2. If you have the IWD configuration utility installed, run it. On the general tab, at the leftmost side, is a vertical scale which has various difficulty settings. If you have HOW installed, there will also be a check box at the bottom of this scale that will allow you to enable the special 'Heart of Fury' mode of gameplay.
